Tonight Tusker Project Fame 6 premiers ! yaaay!
TUSKER is our favourite Kenyan beer, so to speak the flagship of the East African Breweries Ltd. So much so, in fact that the name has been incorporated into the hugely popular musical talent competition show Tusker Project Fame, which EABL sponsors every year and which is broadcast live on Saturdays and Sundays over an eight week period on TV channels in the participating East African countries: Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and, last but not least, Kenya
Styling of the participants and the presenters is a major task, which now for the second year in a row has been entrusted to me and I am proud to have been part of the team which made last year’s show TPF5 such a success, with my assistants Charity and Sharon. And I hope we can do just as well this time round with my co-stylist Nancie.
I really enjoyed my work for TPF5, especially since the programme management gave me completely free hands to create inspired and glamorous looks for all contestants, week after week. And I would like to share with you some of my favourite outfits, which also the contestants loved.
TPF6 wardrobe is sponsored by the DEACONS group, which has been contracted to provide all clothes, shoes and accessories for the contestants, through their range of Nairobi shops – Woolworth, Truworth, Mr. Price, Adidas, Angelo, 4u2, Identity… etc. This means that all the contestants outfits will be from any of these shops.
If you like any of this outfits, email me and I will let you know where I got them from.
The host Mitch always looks dapper ! It is always so much fun dressing him
Last year he wore Burtons suits from their shops at Village Market and Prestige Mall on Ngong Road.
this year, Walton designs in Jamia mall, Nairobi, will provide his wardrobe. They have a collection sleeks and stylish looks for men. Check them out!
We have a new lovely female host Joey Muthengi. Her outfits will be by various designers in East Africa, if you are a designer and would love to dress her. Drop me a line. email@example.com
If you have the possibility, you can follow the show on TV every weekend, beginning tonight, and eventually you might be able to find the shows on YouTube – and I would be really happy to receive your comments.
PS: you have gotta watch the show tonight ! the new stage is AMAZING
