Bedazzled Ankara Dress at The MAC Viva Glam Launch Party

Two weeks ago, I was invited to attend the MAC Viva Glam launch party. Where they introduced MAC’s collection with Taraji p Henson to the Kenyan market. Proceeds from this collection will be going towards helping those living with or affected by AIDS or HIV.

As you would expect it was a great opportunity to mingle with people from the industry, to chat with old friends and to make new ones. A really happy and fun event worthy of MAC’s reputation.  I also enjoyed playing around with the makeup with my beloved friend and makeup artist Debby. I think Debby could suggest anything and I’d probably go for it, I mean – have you ever seen me in dark green lipstick before?? … only Debby guys, only Debby.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of excitement. I feel like I am really living my dream and coming alive with all the things that I love to do. My travel calendar is filling up, my daughter is turning 4 this weekend and we are having a fun-filled party with her friends. She is really blossoming into a smart young girl and our conversations are getting deeper; the time I spend with her is a joy. I have also been blessed to partner with amazing people and brands that I love and the synergy is magical. It does get hard and overwhelming at times but I am not complaining. I am living my dream! In times like these, I just say thank you God and love you guys for believing in me.

Enjoy pictures from the MAC party and thank you for dropping by.
