Mickey Mouse tee, White pants

Don’t we all love Fridays when there is a whole happy weekend ahead of us?
But Thursdays are traditional reggae nights in Nairobi for me, and yesterday I had one of the most memorable ones – ever! My friends were wonderful and fun, the cocktails were flowing, and the DJ played the best of the best. Including Bob Marley who I love.
Which reminded me to share this outfit, which I wore a few days ago, with you.
The combination of Mickey Mouse, who is one of my daughter’s most loved cartoon characters, and the graffiti of my absolute favorite! The legendary Bob Marley on the wall is a perfect combination. I have taken a great liking to graffiti lately, this one is done by my talented friend Smokillah who did this one as well. But this one of Marley’s picture must be my best at present.

Remember this minnie mouse outfit I made for my daughter here 🙂
Sometimes I get really dolled up for special events, but in my day-to-day life I mostly prefer casual looks, which are comfortable and totally unassuming… this was one of those days.
This bag is one of my favorite, seen here as well.
I have not blogged for a while, partly because I have so much going on in my professional life these days. One of my current projects is styling for the concert by top Kenyan music group Elani next Saturday the 29th  dubbed “Share the Love”  at Impala grounds. I hope to see you there.
On the home front I am preparing to clear my closets of clothes that I don’t plan on wearing anymore. I admit that I have become a bit of a hoarder, but intend to start the new year with empty shelves and free hangers.
I will let you have the best pieces at seriously discounted prices. So watch this space for details on how to own the few items I will put up for sale next week.
What is left of the stuff, which I feel I can do without, I intend on donating it to charities, so any suggestions would be welcome.
