The first week of February is gone and soon it will be Valentines Day! Where did January go? Didn’t I just wish you a happy new year the other day? Time seems to fly by so quickly these days. I’m excited to share my favorite products of January with you guys and I hope to do this every other month. These products will not only be fashion and beauty related, but will be a feel of my whole lifestyle spectrum. So without further ado let’s take a look back at my favorites in January.
H&M Round Clutch – Obsessed with this fun and quirky clutch with an edgy glam, perfect for a night out. I knew from the moment I laid my eyes on it, that it would find its home with me.
From H&M
Prada Candy perfume – I am not always excited to shop for perfumes, I get light headed after the first three or four scents. Luckily for me, this was only the second perfume I tried at a duty free shop last year and I was sold. I just wish I could share with you how yummy it smells! It is sweet and candy-like with hints of caramel and vanilla. Sadly, it fades away too quickly and I have to keep reapplying it. And honestly, I love it so much I don’t mind.
From Airport Duty free shop
Fruttini body scrub – If you follow me on snapchat (@silvianjoki) you know that this was an impulse buy during a grocery shopping trip. I was drawn to it by the lovely scent and I am now on my second bottle less than a month later! I was so amazed the first time I used it, the micro beads exfoliate my skin leaving it feeling so smooth and the sweet fragrance lingers on for a while. Looking forward to trying different variants of the same product.

Purple Rain lip color – This is my favorite matte purple color. It is such a rich and vibrant color that wears so well and lasts all day.
See me wearing it here .
It ships within 3 weeks to Kenya shop here
Kielhs lip relief – This is hands down the best lip balm I have ever used. It soaks in so beautifully and helps my lips to stay hydrated and moisturized. And let me not go on about the beautiful tingly sensation of the eucalyptus. I got this particular one in Spain. If anyone knows where I can get this in Nairobi or Mombasa, please email me
Jing Tea – Gifted to me from the UK. This is another product that I am desperately hunting for in Kenya. It is a beautiful scented tea with whole leaf ceylon, star anise and spices like cardamom. It’s so flavorful and tasty. I keep serving it to all my friends who visit and I am now due for another pack!
Have any of your tried any of these products and what are your thoughts ? Which of these products are you keen on trying ?
