I feel that most of the outfits I have featured in the past week could be worn for a low key dinner out, or even at home. But for a romantic Valentine’s evening dinner, the maxi dress is the ultimate go-to dress.
This week would not be complete if I did not share a favorite pick of a maxi. The selling point for me on this particular dress was the fish tail.
What are your Valentine’s day plans ? Remember to check the details on a fine African cuisine dinner at Le Palanka. More details can be found on this post. One more day to go !
Style note
Unless it’s a formal evening dinner, I tend to steer away from wearing black gowns and maxis. Colour is more festive !

I agree
what’s winning about the dress other than the fishtail is who is wearing it 🙂

why thank you, gorgeous
Went to Le Palanka on valentine’s night. The place was beautifully set, totally loved it. We had to leave though as the menu didn’t have much variety and we couldn’t find anything ‘good’. And the room we were ushered into was reeking of fresh paint -the smell was too strong. But the place is lovely nevertheless. Will visit some other day.
Sorry about that… They were indeed having renovations up until a week ago.
Hope you ended up having a great day after all.
