These shots were taken during my recent trip to Dubai on a morning when I was strolling through the old town which is so different from most other parts of the city. You can learn more about this trip by watching my Dubai with Google VLOG
I bought this outfit straight off the mannequin! It was love at first sight: I am really loving floral embroidery and appliques on everything from shoes to bags and even on clothes, its like a cooler version of my grandma’s outfits.
I cannot believe that this is only my second post this year, Where did January go?? I dragged my holidays into January and was still in holiday mode until reality struck hard a week or so ago. I started the year with no major resolutions but finding the right balance that allows me to travel more while spending quality with my family.
And now when I ought to get back into my blogging routine I am finding it a bit hard to get back into the post-holiday groove. Although I love my job, I have to admit that recently it’s been a struggle to mobilize my energy and come up with new ideas. I wonder why my level of inspiration and drive is so low, although I’m aware that this is something which most other bloggers/creatives – even the most dynamic – experience from time to time. Some call it a blogger’s block.
Even though this year has brought me many great opportunities, I am beginning to feel that true motivation might best be fostered by adjusting the sails in terms of the content that I produce. As they say, you cannot direct the wind, but you can adjust the sails. Hopefully this new approach will pull me out of the lull I am experiencing at present and get myself back into full action.
