It’s interesting how fashion always takes us back, constantly re-inventing itself. Wearing dresses over pants is one of those trends that could make you end up looking like a teenager of the 90’s.
I layered a sheer mini gold dress over blue denims for a low key take to this look. Wearing dresses this way, not only gives you many new and exciting styling options for your dress but is also a fun way to wear dresses which are a bit too short and sometimes even too sheer for everyday use.
As we have now enjoyed a second peaceful day of the post-election period I am grateful that our beloved country has been spared instability and violence in spite of the obvious prevailing tension. I am so proud of my fellow Kenyans who by showing maximum restraint have demonstrated their maturity as responsible citizens by accepting the rules of the democratic rule of law even during this crucial final phase of the election, while the country and indeed the world, is anxiously awaiting the ultimate results. Our attention is totally focused on the election process, and in the next couple of days we wish to devote our time to prayers for its peaceful conclusion. May the losing candidates and their supporters accept the results with dignity and grace and all individuals support the efforts of the authorities to maintain order and stability.
I firmly believe that the election promises of the full range of parties, coalitions and candidates have been conceived with the well-being of the country and its citizens in mind and that regardless of who the winners are, these noble goals will be foremost in their minds as they take office. By allowing the constitutionally elected office holders to perform their functions without un-lawful interference, you as a citizen can contribute to make this great country even stronger for the good of us all.
