I believe this is true for most people, such an easy color to wear and looks good on everybody and that is why I find it hard to believe that Vogue’s editor Anna Wintor says that she would never wear an all black outfit. What is a closet without this classic colour?

Black allows me to express myself in a way that I couldn’t with most other colors – even to be a bit crazy. Take for example this outfit. Can you imagine it in a color like yellow, red or neon green? nah, Let’s just stop there. Snap back to black. Let’s be honest, it’s not your or even my everyday outfit. It’s bold and expressive and it would feel overwhelming in another color.
One of my favourite ways of wearing black is paired with golden accessories, An easy combination, perfect for everyone, and right now I am loving these layered neckpieces from Embody; they pair so well with monotone looks and elevate a basic outfit to chic in an instance. My other favorite way of wearing them is on a white vest paired with blue denims. A fab weekend look. But I must be honest; I have maybe been guilty of wearing them with all my black outfits more often than I should. A true love affair with sweet everyday pieces.
