I am always trying to have fun with clothes. And the looks I share with you on the blog are meant to reflect my personality, mood e.t.c I see my blogging effort as a platform for you to be inspired by and not necessarily wear what I am wearing from head to toe.

At the end of the day, we are all different, with different body types and lifestyles, and I would hope that you could just take some inspiration from my looks and use them in your own styling efforts. Some women like my hair or my makeup, some love my colour combinations, some just one piece of the outfit combination. If you could find that one thing which speaks to you and it inspires you to incorporate it into your style, then all this is not in vain for me.
This was an outfit I wore for a concert last Saturday. It was a chilly and rainy Nairobi evening. This coat kept me warm and cosy on a rather chilly night as I enjoyed being serenaded by Gilad, Sauti Sol, H_art the Band amongst other amazing local artists. This coat is fast rising to be one of my favourites for nights out and since the weather can’t seem to make up its mind lately, I always have a coat with me. It is a River Island thrift from Nairobi, that I featured in this video. It is amazing the pieces you can thrift in this country. And this outfit is just a perfect example of how I have been dressing in this unpredictable Nairobi weather, the sheer outfit underneath is perfect when the temperatures decide to suddenly soar.
And as I told you before, I am on a velvet choker high ! this one is my current buy.
