My MOMMY101 Interview On EBRU TV

Two days ago, I was interviewed by the beautiful and super talented actress Brenda Wairimu, who most of you probably remember from the Show Mali on NTV. After she gave birth to her daughter Amor (what a beautiful name, by the way) about a year and a half ago she has been off the screen for some time. But now she is back in full form hosting a new show on Ebru TV which was just launched a few weeks back – Mommy 101.

A much needed talk show about motherhood, primarily targeting young moms, which so far has had some pretty awesome celebrity mothers sharing their experiences as first time moms.

Announcing the news about the launch on Instagram she wrote:

“So I’m trying something new.  And I know I am nor very good at it now, but we can always grow yes?! Producing and hosting my first show on Ebru TV. Keep the constrictive criticism coming, but be kind.” I simply love her down to earth spirit, which is actually just like she actually is in person.

When Brenda contacted me a couple of weeks ago to ask if I would be prepared to join her for an interview, I didn’t hesitate a second before accepting the invitation. And although being interviewed on the set with cameras and technicians all around you can be intimidating as you can imagine, she made me feel totally at ease. It was just like sitting there in the couch chatting to a long time girl friend about my motherhood journey and my life with my wonderful 3 year old daughter Nielsine. I have done quite a few TV interviews before but being interviewed by a girlfriend made it so much more relaxed. At the end of the show she totally surprised me with a short but tricky quiz on fashion history, which to my relief I was able to pass with flying colours. Life is good…
The show will air Tomorrow Sunday 17th July at 8pm Kenya time on EBRU TV, so if you have the possibility this is your chance to get to know me even better and of course to become a regular fan of Brenda’s new weekly mommy talks.

I wanted to wear something colorful to compliment  the mommy 101 set and here are my outfit details

Dress – H&M in Barcelona, Shoes – Backyard shoes, Neckpiece – Market in Dakar
