[su_dropcap style=”simple” size=”1″]I [/su_dropcap]would have been in deep trouble back in high school for wearing my shirt untucked. And to think that designers are now creating sweaters with shirttails sewn onto the hem is really funny to me. This sweater is my favorite, I literally don’t want to take it off! Layering button-down shirts is one of my best ways to wear my pullovers in this cold season; Untuck the shirt and let hems and peek out.
A while back, I was on the hunt for a flounce skirt and when I could not get one, I did the next best thing – I made one myself. That was about a year ago, until I came across this one last month. I believe that they are such fun pieces that should not have any rules to wearing/styling. Most people seem to think that they need to be tight at the waits and that the tops paired with them should be loose and untucked. The fashion rebel in me did just that in this look and I think it worked out just fine.
