[su_dropcap style=”simple” size=”1″]I[/su_dropcap] am back home with my family at the coast, and have left my second home in Nairobi for a while. I love to be here and be part of our vibrant community, and one of the things I really appreciate is the variety of places you can go to for lunch or for a night out. I especially have come to love “Distant Relatives” a backpacker’s eco-lodge with a bar full of life and an outdoor stage where very often they offer exciting performances. A couple of weeks ago I went there with my little daughter for a dance soiree.

And watched some amazing fire dancers. I think it is great that they even accept small children way into the night, where a live band creates a great atmosphere in the bar. It’s a beautiful environment for the family where people come together for music and live art with things for kids to do as well. I especially love the sand pit where they can play. Friday is pizza night! And I am looking forward to going there tonight to hang out with friends and to make new friends while listening to good music and enjoying their yummy food from the wood-fired oven.
This all white combination would have looked amazing under the full moon, but it may not be my outfit of choice tonight, All white looks make me feel like a dirt and makeup magnet, coupled with keeping up with playing toddlers in the sand makes it a definite no no, But there is something so fresh about an all-white outfit, that oozes class and sophistication. This two piece paired with flats will be great for lunch on the beach this Sunday. Wishing you all a great Weekend !
