Happy Madaraka day !
This is the outfit I designed to wear at the Fashion for Peace show.I pretty much incorporated trends that I love and made them work together in one look ; Tulle skirts, double off the shoulder tops and bold lips.
My friend and colleague Wambui also attended the event dressed in a tulle skirt, hey… I guess great minds think alike !
I used 5 meters of a stiffer tulle fabric. I have done tulle skirts before, but they were never puffy enough, the trick here is using a stiffer tulle, sometimes known as stiff net.
I love doing my make-up, I had to share with you my favorite lipstick of the moment, It is called Black cherry by Milani.
There is a beauty wholesale shop on Kimathi street that sells Milani lispticks ! just next to beauty options.
I really loved my outfit and most importantly, I felt comfortable, chic and elegant in it.
My clear clutch from Gojane was definitely one of my best accessories of the night.
I was so busy working that I did not manage to take pictures with my camera . Asante to my friends from Heenie Photography and eye-con photography for these pictures.
For pictures from the fashion show and to know more about FAFA check them out here
My shoes are from Angelo at the Junction Mall.
Belt is from Woolworths Yaya centre , same one worn here
I bought my fabric from Memsaab fabric shop, Corner plaza Westlands
Have a fab week !
