How I Rock My Ballerina Flats

When this year began I prayed that I would get more travelling opportunities. And God blessed me with back to back travels across Europe and I only spent about two weeks with my daughter in close to 2 months. So in July – my birthday month, I purposed to stay at home and be with her. It has been a great time and I feel re-energized and ready to get back onto regular blogging. We spent our time either at home or outdoors eating out with friends or shopping.
On regular days like these I want to embrace my day without pressure. Trust me, my little daughter is a ball of energy, and therefore more often than not comfort is my guiding principle when styling my everyday clothing and flats are always my fave option. These  lace-up ballet flats are my go to pair of shoes – not only comfortable but true to my stylish aspirations they are whimsical and cute as they mimic a real ballerinas shoes.
During this time at home, I also experimented with different wigs. This particular one is my favorite. It sometimes throws people off to a point where they are not even able to recognize me, which I find absolutely hilarious!
These pictures were shot at the lovely Park Inn by the Radisson in Nairobi, a new cool and chic hotel in town that is young and stylish. Y’all should check it out. A perfect location for gram worthy pictures.
