[su_dropcap style=”simple”]T[/su_dropcap]his month I am celebrating an important milestone in my professional career as a fashion journalist, After close to seven years at The Standard newspaper I am now writing for the Daily Nation, which has assigned me a page in their brand new pull-out myNetwork. Every Friday from now on you can grab the paper and get your weekly dose of fashion and beauty , as the editor calls it, on my page TRENDS.
myNetwork is a fresh new publication, that celebrates the young Kenyan, It seeks to inspire and challenge you to be a better you, whether you are in high school, college or fresh out of college, myNetwork will give fresh and exciting articles to keep you motivated to follow your dream and get into the career of your choice.
It’s so exciting for me to have been given this opportunity to share my expertise in the areas of fashion and beauty, with a diverse audience. When the Daily Nation first contacted me about this new idea it didn’t take me long to realize the fantastic platform they were offering me. And I quickly jumped on board! Every week you will be able to enjoy a fresh batch of articles and photos covering a range of aspects of beauty, fashion, lifestyle and celebrity news.
I must admit that amidst all my excitement, I left my friends and colleagues at Pulse Magazine with a heavy heart. We have had such an excellent cooperation and forged warm friendships with each other, but I just felt that the time had come for me to move on and take on a new challenge.
