I am finally able to share with you some of my favourite loc styles. I can only do a few of these styles myself while others have to be done professionally, since more often than not, they need to be sewn up when put in an updo style. I always wash and condition my hair at home, and about once every six months I dye it black myself with henna. But I leave the re-twisting and styling to a hairdresser. The good news for those of you without locs is that these styles can be done on all sorts of braids or temporary locs. I am sharing my top go to styles. Enjoy and do let me know which one is your favorite in the comment section below.

Curled up locs
I never really go the extra mile for my curls, I achieve the volume and curls after a few days of wrapping or braiding my hair in the styles seen on this post. Curls will depend on prior hairstyle see here
Rolled up locs
This is one of the styles that has to be done professionally or with some assistance, as the technique is a bit complex as seen here
